1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how TrueConsent by Silky Apple Technologies handles your data. TrueConsent is designed to securely manage digital agreements locally.
2. Data Collection and Usage
TrueConsent operates with a privacy-first approach. All biometric data (if applicable via native device APIs) and identity information are processed locally on your device.
To enable QR code verification and permanent record-keeping, your digital consent signatures, profile info (from Google Sign-in), and encrypted agreement payloads are securely transmitted to our backend API.
Device and Audit Info: We log technical audit data including your IP address, User Agent, timezone, authentication method, and an anonymized, SHA-256 hashed device identifier.
Location Data: If you explicitly opt-in to the "precise location proof" feature, the app will collect your coarse or fine GPS location coordinates.
3. Where Data Is Stored
Consent records, digital signatures, and audit logs are securely stored on our Cloudflare backend infrastructure (including D1 databases, KV caching, and R2 blob storage). We do not share this data with third-party advertising or analytics networks. You may also optionally use Google Drive to backup your Proof PDFs.
4. Third-Party Services and Permissions
TrueConsent uses Google Sign-In as its sole identity provider and Cloudflare as its backend infrastructure. It does not integrate with any third-party analytics or crashlytics trackers.
Permissions: The app requires Internet access, Biometrics (for app lock/confirmation), Location (if location proofs are enabled), and Google Drive OAuth scopes (if backups are enabled).
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our maximum liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the application, regardless of the cause of action, will not exceed the amount you paid for the service.
