End User License Agreement

Effective Date: February 24, 2026

1. Introduction and Scope

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a binding legal agreement between you ("Licensee") and Silky Apple Technologies ("Licensor"). This agreement governs your use of Silky Apple software and related documentation made available through silkyapple.com (the "Software").

2. License Grant

Silky Apple Technologies grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to install and use the Software on devices owned or controlled by the Licensee, subject to the limits and instructions that apply to the specific product.

3. Local-First and User-Controlled Data Architecture

SilkySnip and Silky Calcs are designed around local-first workflows. SilkWallet is designed so your budgeting experience remains privacy-conscious and user-controlled. The Licensee retains ownership and control over the data they create and manage through the Software.

  • Silky Apple does not use your in-app data for AI model training.
  • The Licensee remains responsible for securing their own device environment and, where applicable, their connected accounts and permissions.

4. Restrictions on Use

The Licensee shall not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.
  • Sub-license, rent, lease, or distribute the Software without written authorization.
  • Bypass security checks or use the Software in a way that is unlawful or harmful.

5. Intellectual Property

The Software (including all UI components, logos, internal engine code, and visual identities) is highly protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to the Licensee are retained by Silky Apple Technologies.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Silky Apple Technologies be liable for any special, incidental, punitive, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of the use of or inability to use the Software, including data loss or business interruption.
